Pasadena Announces Veterans Day Service Closures
Pasadena, CA - November 7, 2023 - The City of Pasadena has announced service closures in observance of Veterans Day, celebrated on Friday, November 10th. These closures will impact several city departments and services, affecting residents and visitors alike.
City Hall and Department Closures:
- City Hall will be closed on Friday, November 10th.
- All city department offices will also be closed, including but not limited to the following:
- Public Works
- Recreation and Parks
- Library Services
- Building and Safety
- Finance Department
- Human Resources
Service Disruptions:
- Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for all residents.
- Parking enforcement will be suspended for the day.
- Pasadena Public Library branches will be closed on Friday.
- The Rose Bowl Stadium will be closed for public use.
- All city-operated recreational facilities will be closed for the day.
Veterans Day Celebrations:
While city services are closed, Pasadena will still be celebrating Veterans Day with several community events planned throughout the week. These include:
- The Pasadena Veterans Day Parade will be held on Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10:00 AM.
- A Veterans Day ceremony will take place at the Pasadena War Memorial on Sunday, November 12th, at 11:00 AM.
