Zadkovich Sees Big Future for Roar's Young Players
Brisbane Roar head coach Warren Zadkovich is excited about the future of the club, with a number of young players making a strong impression this season.
Zadkovich, who took over as coach in the off-season, has been impressed by the talent and potential of the Roar's young stars. He believes that the club is in a good position to build a successful future with these players at the heart of the team.
"We have a lot of young players who are really starting to find their feet," said Zadkovich. "They're hungry to learn and they're working hard to improve. I'm really excited to see what they can achieve in the years to come."
One of the most exciting young talents at the Roar is 19-year-old attacker, Lachlan Wales. Wales has been a regular in the starting lineup this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 14 appearances.
"Lachlan has been outstanding this year," Zadkovich said. "He's got a lot of natural ability and he's learning all the time. He's got a bright future ahead of him."
Another promising young player is 17-year-old defender, Jordan Courtney-Perkins. Courtney-Perkins has made 10 appearances this season, showing maturity and composure beyond his years.
"Jordan is a very talented young player," Zadkovich said. "He's got a great attitude and he's always willing to learn. He's got the potential to be a top defender in this league."
Zadkovich is confident that these young players will continue to develop and improve in the coming years. He believes that their hunger and desire to succeed will be key to the Roar's future success.
"I think we've got a really good foundation here," Zadkovich said. "We've got a good mix of experienced players and exciting young players. We're all working together towards the same goal, which is to be successful. I'm really confident about the future of this club."
The Roar's focus on youth development has been praised by many in the Australian football community. The club has a long history of producing talented young players, and Zadkovich is committed to continuing this tradition.
"It's important for us to develop our own players," Zadkovich said. "It's something that's always been a part of the Roar's culture. We want to give young players the opportunity to showcase their talent and to develop into top professionals."
The future looks bright for the Brisbane Roar, with a strong foundation of young talent ready to take the club to new heights. Zadkovich's vision and the club's commitment to youth development suggest a promising future for the Roar.
